A first ferris wheel ride in more than a decade
Jane, who has Metatropic dysplasia, wanted to experience the Melbourne Royal Show with her grandmother and family.
A normal day out was not possible without medical support, so the TLC Ambulance helped create a safe and carefully planned journey.
The family played carnival games, met rabbits and guinea pigs, enjoyed Country Women’s Association scones and fed playful goats. One of the biggest moments was a disability accessible ferris wheel ride, the first Jane and her grandmother had shared in more than a decade.
The day was full of ordinary family fun, which is exactly what made it extraordinary.
