Getting support
Can a family apply directly for the Rapid TLC Program?+
Requests to the Rapid TLC Program are submitted by approved healthcare professionals. Families should speak with a member of their treating healthcare team about whether a request may be appropriate.
Who can be considered for the Rapid TLC Program?+
Requests may be made for children and young people from newborn to 21 years of age across illnesses and conditions. Each request is considered on its individual circumstances and the information supplied by the healthcare professional.
How is a TLC Ambulance journey requested?+
A treating healthcare professional submits the request. Clinical appropriateness, planning requirements and logistics are then reviewed with the relevant teams and family.
How can a hospital request a TLC Distraction™ Box?+
Authorised healthcare users can request first, additional and replacement boxes or items through the TLC Services App.
Are donations tax-deductible?+
Yes. TLC for Kids is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient, so donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible in Australia.
Can I change or cancel regular support?+
Yes. Regular support can be changed or cancelled. Contact TLC for Kids if you need assistance updating your arrangement.
Will I receive a receipt?+
A receipt is issued for eligible donations. Regular supporters can also receive an annual tax statement.
Can my business support TLC for Kids?+
Yes. Options include Business Friends, workplace giving, service and event sponsorship, matched giving, team fundraising and tailored partnerships.
Where does TLC for Kids operate?+
TLC for Kids works nationally through more than 405 hospitals and healthcare facilities. The TLC Ambulance currently operates through participating clinical partnerships in Victoria and South Australia.

Visit the Credentials and Financials page for the ABN, DGR status, ACNC information, fundraising licence numbers and annual reporting.
